Location
Avra Studios are located in the idyllic area of Skala Rachoni, which is on the north-west part of the island and is 11km away from the island’s capital, Limenas, and only 3,5km from the port in Prinos area, which connects the island with the city of Kavala. There is a bus stop just 20m away from our facilities and the buses to both foresaid areas are quite frequent. Don’t forget to try the local virgin olive oil and the traditional delicacies of our village.
The shore near the area of Skala Rachoni is considered to be one of the most beautiful of the island, although all of the beaches around our island can satisfy even the most demanding visitors. Thassos island is ideal for the lovers of nature as well as those who want to remain active even during their holiday since they can choose between hiking and climbing, water skiing and enjoying the view of the crystal clear waters of the shores on a sailboat.
